The First Italian Exhibition of Spanish Lutherie: Art, Tradition and Sound at Eufonica 2026, in collaboration with Seis Cuerdas

For the first time in Italy, Eufonica hosts a section entirely dedicated to Spanish lutherie, bringing to Bologna the excellence of Iberian classical and flamenco guitar making.

From 15 to 17 May, at Hall 33 of BolognaFiere, the great Spanish school of guitar making will take centre stage in a unique exhibition created in collaboration with Seiscuerdas, a leading reference in classical guitar culture. A high-profile event that builds a direct bridge between Spanish lutherie tradition and the Italian guitar community, offering professionals, teachers, conservatory students and industry operators a valuable opportunity for technical, artistic and cultural exchange.

The Spanish tradition: a global reference

Spain represents one of the most authoritative historical centres in the development of the modern classical guitar. Its lutherie school has influenced generations of makers and performers, playing a decisive role in the technical and tonal evolution of the instrument. This exhibition marks a first for Italy: a rare opportunity to compare different master luthiers within a single context and discover up close the craftsmanship that has shaped the history of the guitar.
