May 15: Eufonica 2026 Opening Day

Home Discover May 15 Inauguration
Eufonica 2026 opens on Friday, May 15 with a full day combining live music and reflection on the contemporary music ecosystem.

On the Main Stage, in collaboration with MEI – Meeting of Independent Labels, the independent scene takes center stage with Indie Power, Italy’s largest indie DJ set, running from the afternoon until 11:00 PM. The event will be preceded by a series of live performances spanning the history of the Bologna and Italian music scene: Not Moving, Gaznevada, and Pesissimi – featuring Stefano “Sbarbo” Cavedoni and Andy “Bellombrosa” Dallavalle – alongside several guests from the local scene.

A large-scale “Remember Bologna Rock” celebration marking the 20th anniversary of Bologna UNESCO City of Music, within a program that confirms Eufonica as a meeting point for the entire music value chain. Alongside the live dimension, the day also features two key talks focused on cultural policies, artists’ rights, and support for live music, bringing together institutional representatives and industry professionals such as Nicola Zingaretti and Matteo Orfini.
