Amnesty Award 2026: new opportunities for emerging artists and live at Eufonica
Eufonica 2026 strengthens its ecosystem through its collaboration with the Amnesty Award – Voci per la libertà, the contest dedicated to songs on human rights, now in its 29th edition, creating a bridge between music and civic engagement.
Applications are now officially open: alongside the “big” category, dedicated to songs released in 2025, the award renews its focus on the emerging scene, offering new opportunities for songwriters and bands. Applications for the emerging category are open until April 20, 2026, with an early deadline on March 31.
Thanks to the collaboration with MEI – Meeting of Independent Labels, the Festival Network, and Eufonica, among those who apply by March 31, the first semifinalist will be selected and will have the opportunity to perform at Eufonica 2026.
The process will continue with the semifinals and the final stage of “Voci per la libertà – Una canzone per Amnesty”, scheduled from July 24 to 26 in Rovigo, where the awards will be assigned in both the big and emerging categories. The winner of the emerging section will also perform on the main stage of the MEI in Faenza (October 2–4, 2026). At the same time, “Voci per la libertà in tour 2026” continues, with upcoming dates on March 19 in Milan and March 21 in Foggia.
