Eufonica 2026: the first Woman DJ Indie MEI Battle arrives

The music scene opens up to new energies and languages with the first Woman DJ Indie MEI Battle, scheduled for Saturday, May 16 at Eufonica 2026, at BolognaFiere.

The initiative, organized by the Rimini Deejay Academy and coordinated by international DJ and producer Max Monti, aims to promote and give visibility to female talent in the DJing world, offering a space dedicated to performance, exchange and professional growth.

The competition will unfold in three phases: an online selection, live 1vs1 semifinals and a final three-way battle.Applicants are required to submit a 10-minute DJ set video by April 15, 2026; a panel will select 6 DJs who will advance to the live phase at the fair.

During the event, participants will compete in live sets until a winner is determined. The first-place DJ will win a Pioneer DJ DDJ-FLX4 controller, while all finalists will have the opportunity to perform within one of the most dynamic contexts of the event.

Alongside the battle, the Rimini Deejay Academy, one of Italy’s leading training institutions, will also present its DJ Girls crew, which has taken part in major national events such as the Sanremo Festival. A new format that enriches Eufonica’s program, strengthening the connection between training, live performance and new generations.
