Eufonica among the media partners of Gypsy Guitar 2026

Eufonica strengthens its connection with the world of guitar and lutherie even after the conclusion of its fourth edition, becoming a media partner of Gypsy Guitar 2026.

The event is scheduled for 22 June 2026 at Molo Wunderkammer in Ferrara, as part of “Un Fiume di Musica”, the city’s music festival on the banks of the Volano river. The evening, which will be accessible with a voluntary donation, will also be dedicated to UNICEF, confirming the Ferrara festival’s vocation for bringing together artistic experience, local identity and social commitment. Now in its ninth edition, Gypsy Guitar presents an evening dedicated to manouche music and to the legacy of the luthier from Cento Mario Maccaferri, who in 1932 invented the guitar that helped define the sound of Django Reinhardt, a legend of European swing and pioneer of jazz manouche.

The 2026 edition will feature an exhibition of musical instruments at Sala Wunderkammer and a concert on the river. The evening will feature Andrea Dessì Gipsy World 4tet feat. Massimo Tagliata, with Andrea Dessì on guitar, Massimo Tagliata on accordion, Giacomo Fantoni on guitar and Massimiliano Turone on double bass. The project brings to the stage an open and contemporary reinterpretation of gipsy music, balancing respect for the manouche tradition, jazz influences and expressive freedom. Eufonica’s media partnership with Gypsy Guitar therefore emerges as a natural dialogue, finding common ground in guitar, lutherie and the traditions of musical communities as spaces for mutual storytelling and promotion: a commitment that perfectly reflects the spirit of the Salone della Musica e delle sue Professioni, and that will continue during the lead-up to the next edition, scheduled from 14 to 16 May 2027 at BolognaFiere.
