Intrecci di Corde debuts at Eufonica: the festival of Italian music schools
Eufonica 2026 welcomes Intrecci di Corde, the festival of Italian music schools dedicated to string instruments. The project will make its debut on Sunday, May 17 on Eufonica’s main stage, positioning itself as a meeting point between educational institutions, artistic initiatives and young talents. Intrecci di Corde is the result of a collaboration between Eufonica, AIdSM – Italian Association of Music Schools, and COMUSICA, with the contribution of a wide network of music schools and music high schools, coordinated by the “B. Zucchi” Music High School of Monza.
Designed to highlight the many music education realities active across the country and to foster connections among them, Intrecci di Corde proposes a replicable model of collaboration, offering students the opportunity to engage with the music industry and connect with professionals, teachers and sector operators. As part of the project, Eufonica will also host the debut of the “Polifonia di Regioni” Guitar Orchestra, an ensemble composed of 28 students from music institutions in Emilia-Romagna, Veneto and Lombardy.
Under the direction of Maestro Ciro Fiorentino, founder of COMUSICA and former director of the Lombardy Regional Orchestra, Polifonia di Regioni will guide the audience through a rediscovery of the guitar as a fully orchestral and inclusive instrument, performing a contemporary repertoire of original compositions.
