Eufonica 2026: from 15 to 17 May in Bologna, the Music and Music Professions Fair Returns

From 15 to 17 May 2026, Bologna hosts the fourth edition of Eufonica – Music and Music Professions Fair, held in Hall 33 of BolognaFiere, in the setting of the UNESCO Creative City of Music.

The central theme of the 2026 edition, “Music Is in Everyone”, will guide a programme dedicated to education, musical instruments, professions and innovation in music production.

For the second consecutive year, Eufonica takes place alongside the Guitar Show and in collaboration with MEI – Meeting delle Etichette Indipendenti, creating a true Music Ecosystem that brings together artistic, production and creative paths from the Italian independent scene.

Over 300 events, guest artists and an expanding exhibition offer

With more than 300 scheduled events in 2025 for journalists, students, musicians, artisans, technicians, publishers and cultural operators, Eufonica confirmed its role as a meeting point for professional development and industry dialogue.
 The previous edition recorded over 13,000 attendees, marking a 20% increase compared to 2024, more than 300 exhibitors across 21,000 m², and a growing international presence (47%), strengthened through its synergy with Guitar Show and MEI.

New in 2026: Drum Show, Vinyl Experience and new international competitions

Among the most anticipated additions:

• Drum Show – a new international area dedicated to drums and percussion, enriched by the Dom Famularo Memorial Day with masterclasses, competitions and a final show;

• Vinyl Experience – an immersive programme dedicated to the cultural value of vinyl;

• Two International Lutherie Competitions for bowed and plucked instruments, enhancing contemporary craftsmanship and the new generations of luthiers.

The programme also features:
 • the ESTA International Conference, marking the association’s 50th anniversary;
 • events promoted by SIEM, Intrecci di Corde and AIdSM;
 • the Guitar Week, organised with the G.B. Martini Conservatory of Bologna and dedicated to classical and jazz guitar;
 • a wide cultural programme developed with INDIRE, including conferences, workshops and calls for papers on music, education and innovation.

Eufonica is a project by BolognaFiere, realised with the patronage of the Emilia-Romagna Region, Municipality of Bologna, Confcommercio ASCOM Bologna, CNA Emilia-Romagna, Confindustria Emilia Area Centro, ASSOMUSICA, ASSONANZA, COMUSICA, DISMA, ENAC and SIEM, and in collaboration with the G.B. Martini Conservatory, INDIRE, AIdSM, Guitar Show and MEI – Meeting delle Etichette Indipendenti.
